Inserting a photo without having it sent as an attachment as well.

I am running Vista and my question refers to my email system which is Outlook
2003.

When inserting a picture in to the body of an email, using the Insert tab on
the toolbar and via Word as the editor, the message is sent with the photo
positioned properly but is also included as an attachment.

I would like to find a way to still insert that photo but not the attachment
as I know that many recipients have a filter that will send messages with
attachments to a "junk" folder.

Any advice or suggestions would be very appreciated.
