Inserting a table into a document

In Front Page 2003 - I do want to set up a table with several rows and 3
columns on 99% of my free space (width) and it set up fine columns all the
same width and hight. Yet when I type something into the 1st column it
increases in witdth and the other 2 columns decrease. How can I avoid that
and have all columns and rows remain at their original seize?

Set the width of the cells in the top row. With 3 columns, use 33%, 34%
and 33% for the widths (they MUST add up to 100%).
The height of all three columns will be the same, the height being
dependant on the content of the tallest column.
