Inserting a web counter

I am trying to add a counter to my website. I went to a website and chose a
counter design. I know I am to copy the Html code and past it on my website,
but not sure where to put the code.
I need your expertise! I am using Publisher 2007 and Vista.

You probably have a javascriptt for the counter.

With the publisher file open, counter to be page displayed,

Copy the javascript

Select Insert
HTML code fragment

Draw a rectangle in the approximate location where you want the counter. (it
can be moved later)

A window will open, paste the javascript in the window box.

OK

You can now do a webpage preview (under the file menu).
Explorer may ask you to allow javascripts in a note under the menu bar;
click yes.

You should now see the counter and if you wish to move it, cancel out the
preview, move the javascript rectangle to a location that suites you.

Create webpages in the usual manner, upload to your server.

That should do it.

Is it visible? I can't find it.

Did you upload the updated files to the IP server?
We're not seeing the counter on your site.
