Inserting Acrobat files into One Note

I

Imre

I wanted to insert a pdf file using INSERT/DOCUMENT AS PICTURE
It did not work. How can I attach an acrobat file to an existing
section?

Non-Office documents are not supported in that feature.

Download and install the "Print to OneNote" application found here:
http://www.analogreality.com

it will appear as a print driver under Control Paner, and you can print
from any application (including Acrobat Reader) into a specified page in
OneNote.

Hello
If you have acrobat pro, you can probably save as another format, possibly
like a BMP file for example. Or JPEG may work well
Good luck

Thanks, unfortunately these solutions are not ideal as I am working
with files created by someone else. I do not consider buying new
sw/opening/converting files. I also do not want to lose features
available in Acrobat. (text searching)

This "print to onenote" app is fine and might be useful in the future.

Maybe next ON release will have this feature. :(

Thanx again,

For what it's worth, the software on the analogreality.com site is free.

If the ability to insert PDF files was implemented in a similar fashion
to the ability to insert Office docs, you would still lose the ability to
search/edit/manipulate the contents. Both OneNote and the AR powertoy
"print" the document and you get a graphic representation of the
document.
