Inserting Calendar into Newsletter

Hi everyone.

I've got Publisher Trial 2007 and am having difficulty, so any help would be
much appreciated. I checked previous questions previously asked in this
forum (found Dean's), but I can't get it to work.

I want to insert a monthly calendar into a club newsletter that I have
created using Publisher 2007. The calendar will be on the two middle pages by
itself. The
calendar will have entries for activities throughout the month. Much like
Dean, if I can insert the calendar with the rest of the newsletter, then I
will be able to
send it directly from my computer to a high quality printer, resulting in a
better looking publication.

I tried the "Design Gallery" standalone calendars that can be inserted, but
they would need some major reformatting every month.

I tried the New Publication catalog and created a beautiful set of monthly
calendars for the next year. However, when I tried to copy one month and
paste it into my newsletter, it didn't work. The text boxes that I created
in the Master Page didn't copy.

Is there no easy way to do this?

Did you try to select all, copy/paste then delete what you don't want?
That worked for me, text boxes and all.

Yes, like I said, the text boxes in the Master Page didn't copy and paste. I
suppose I have to copy each text box onto each month, rather than relying on
Master Page to save me some time.

This is a very disappointing program.

Why are you putting information into the Master Page? You are better off putting
the calendar on the Master page, use text boxes on the publication page for the
information.
I have a 2007 calendar on my web page that uses the Master page for the physical
calendar and text boxes for holidays.
Calendars are easy to create, they are just tables.

Did you "Select All" before trying to copy? If you try to use a tool to
group them all, it may not work. Ctrl/A, Ctrl/C, Ctrl/V selects the
table and the text boxes and pastes everything. But like Mary said, why
put the text frames on the MP?
