Inserting clip art in a Word document

Hi,
I'm trying to insert clip art in a table (calendar) that has a formatted
cell. I'm getting some strange results. The formatting has the contents top
left justified for the days of the month. I would like to re-size the clip
art and have it centered veritcally and horizotally with respect to the cell.
Any suggestions, I think I've tried all the advanced options to no avail.

Hi Denny,

For this to work properly, you may need to turn off automatic column sizing
and fix the cell row height.

Then, once you've inserted the clipart objects, format their layout to
'tight' and centre them. That should get each object centred in its cell.

The tricky bit will be positioning them vertically in the centre of each
cell - I think you'll have to do this manually, by selecting each object in
turn and moving them up/down with the up/down arrows.

For fine-tuning the object movements, use the Drawing Toolbar and minimise
the grid size via Draw|Grid.

Cheers

If you insert the objects In Line With Text, you can use the usual text
controls to center them horizontally and vertically.
