Inserting Clip Art into XP Word docs is causing the system to cras

It seems that when I insert Clip Art and change the image setting to square
(so I can move it to where I want it) Word and Outlook crash. It also seems
to have corrupted the operation of an essential Outlook add-in on my
computer. NEED HELP!!
