Inserting columns

When I insert a new column, it repeats the data or contents of the adjoining
column. It won't let me delete these or add the right data to the new column.
Thanks

Try selecting the column you want after clicking Insert, column.

If that doesn't make sense please tell which version of Project, exactly
what you are doing (we can't see your screen!) and what information/column
you want to insert.

For future learning it is better to create different tables to use when
selecting columns, so look up tables in help.

Hi Sonja,
It sounds like there is a custom formula in the field you are inserting (I
am assuming that you are inserting a custom field like Number1 or Cost5,
etc). If this is the case, right click on the header of the column, select
Customize Fields... then make sure that all of the Custom Attributes are set
to None.

If it is not a custom field that you are inserting, let me know which field
that you are having problems with.
