Inserting columns

I began my Project file by using one of the preset
templates. I then added a few columns and hid a couple of
the existing ones that I didn't need to use.
I am trying to insert a column to the *right* of an
existing column (by highlighting the far right existing
column and choosing Insert-Column) but the new column
inserts to the *left* of the existing column. Can anyone
explain how I can get it to insert to the right? It may
sound like a stupid question, but it's driving me crazy!

Hi Heather,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

Insert the column to the left, re-insert the last column to the left of that
and then delete the original end column. You might like to see FAQ Item:
