Inserting cross pages

Newbie here so please be patient with me as I attempt to build my company
website. My question is a couple of items actually. I have built my main
pages, i.e. artists listing, framing, newsletter, etc. I would like to create
a link from either the artists name or an image that will take the viewer to
another page that contains their work. When I tried to add a page to do
this, it automatically added another title to my navigation bar which I do
not want. My goal is for the viewer looking at per se 10 images on the main
page, click on one of the images and it goes to artists "a" page, click on
another image on that same main page and it goes to artists "b" page.

I hope I'm explaining this correctly, if not please let me know as I'm
looking for help in doing this correctly for cyberspace. Thanks so much,

Watch more closely when you insert additional pages, and uncheck the option
to add to the navbar. Then insert a link from the text or image to the other
pages manually.
