Inserting Custom placeholders

Hi there,

This is probably a stupid question, but does anyone know how to insert a
custom text placeholder area on a slide master so that it can be changed on
each slide. It seems like PP only gives you a few choices. I'm on OSX.3.3
using PP v.x release 1. Any help would be great. Thanks,

No, you can't insert new placeholders on masters. This is a popular feature
request. Your request here should be logged. Alternatively, you can send
feedback using the web form. In PowerPoint X or 2004, go to Help -> Send
Feedback on PowerPoint. Otherwise, click on this direct link to enter Mac
