Inserting Drop Down Menus

Please help me. I'm trying to figure out how to create drop down menus for
our school web site. I've seen them on other web sites. It's in a link of a
menu of links that when clicked on, or when the cursor hoovers over it, a
cascaded menu of sub-links drops down. Can you let me know how to create
this please? I can't find it anywhere in the HELP menu or MS Knowledge Base.
