inserting Excel object in Word 2007

I'd like to insert an Excel spreadsheet into Word (rather than copying from
Excel and linking) and when I choose Excel Spreadsheet from the Insert tab
and Tables or if I go to the Insert tab then Object then Excel Binary
Workbook the program freezes and I have to completely get out of Word.

Any ideas please?

Hi,

Have you tried repairing your Office installation (Word Options|Resources|Diagnose)?
