inserting file as printouts

I'm having problems doing this with spreedsheets!? In legal or tabloid (11x
17) landscape it takes a long time and all I get is totally black pages? how
can this be corrected?

The only work around I have found is to print to a PDF then print the PDF to
OneNote. If there is a better way, I am unaware myself.
