Inserting files in Word

R

Ryan

In Microsoft Word when you click Insert, File and pick multiple files the last one you select is actually inserted first and then the rest of them seem to be inserted in an undetermined order

Recording a macro of course exhibits the same behavior. It is not hard to correct the code; however, is this a documented issue or is there a planned fix

It seems to be with the CommonDialog control and not necessarily specific to Word

Hi Ryan,

Based on my research, as you said the behavior is the expected behavior of
the filedialog across the whole OS. ( e.g. when we add more than one file
into the mediaplay, the select files will be in reverse order.
