Hi Cyrus,

PowerPoint uses QuickTime to play movies. So because QuickTime can play
some Flash files, so can PowerPoint.

The number of Flash file formats that QuickTime supports is rather
limited. Try using QuickTime to open the flash file. If it works in
QuickTime then you can use it in PowerPoint.

What about SWF files? If they are permitted...what are the steps to
insert?

Thanks again!

Hi Cyrus,

Open QuickTime player.

From QuickTime's FILE menu chose OPEN FILE then try to open the SWF file.

If it plays in QuickTime then it will play in PowerPoint.

If it won't play in QuickTime then it won't play in PowerPoint.

As I said, Apple's support of Flash is very limited. Only some SWF files
will play.

Have you considered Exporting the files from Flash as QuickTime Movies
(.mov) rather than as .swf?
