From the beginning of time in WORD, one could insert 'Hidden Text' which is convenient way to have instructions as reminders when it came printing or lay-out issue that would not appear on your print-out.

I used to keyboard it in with Command+H.

I no longer see this feature and wish to know if it has been replaced with something similar.

Feature still exists.

I don't remember cmd-H ever being the default for it, but it certainly
isn't now, as the OS uses cmd-H to Hide the Application.

My 2008 is showing control-shift-h as the default command to make
selected text hidden, try that. You can change it or put it on a toolbar
if you prefer, also.

You're right! Thank you. I found it by accident under Keyboard options - Control+Shift+H. Appreciate your replying so promptly.

Feature still exists.
