Inserting image or drawing , certain functions don't work

Hi

When I insert an image or drawing (Word Art, Clip Art), certain functions
don't seem to work.

While I can insert the object in front of or behind the text, I can't get
'Word' to wrap text around the object.

These buttons simply don't work (sorry but I can't be sure of the names of
these buttons in English. If translated, they might be 'squared', 'close'
and 'through'). They feature inthe same menu as text infront and behind.

Why won't Word wrap my texts around anymore?
