The size is 104kb. Since you said gradients should not matter, I decided to
give it another try. This time I deselected making Previews, and it now
works.

You might have a problem if the file was really large or if you didn't
import it into FP first then insert it into the design.
What was the file size anyway? I'm curious because I've inserted large
gradients before without a problem.

| I found that is what I had to do. The graphics that I created had a large
| amount of gradient filled areas, and apparently it is too much for
FrontPage
| to handle using the Insert command. I've had no problems inserting other
| jpeg files that contained little or no gradient filled areas into
FrontPage.
