Inserting JPG Images

I have Office 2003 on my work PC. Sometimes when I try to insert a JPG image
into a table that I've created in Word, the image looks a lot bigger than I
had originally planned. For example, let's say that I wanted to insert a JPG
that was 100 pixels in height. If I inseerted that image into a Word
document, it might appear more than 100 pixels high (maybe 125% of the
original size). Is there any way to stop Word from increasing the size of
JPGs I insert into a document?

Hi Chris,

The JPG file format has an *option* to store a pixel per
inch (PPI) value within the graphic. When there isn't a PPI
value in the JPG file then Word uses the setting in
Tools=>Options=>General=>Web Options=>Pictures to determine
pixel spread.
