OneNote needs functionality to allow a user to make keyboard assignments for
symbols. I'm a lawyer and I need to use the paragraph and section symbols,
as well as the delta symbol for defendant and pi symbol for plaintiff. I was
able to accomplish this by using autocorrect and assigning the symbols (using
the character map) to to words. This is not the way to do it, but it will
suffice. And I would note that this is not adequately addressed in the
on-line help. The reference for how to insert a degree symbol came close but
was still insufficientl.
I am trying to figure out how to implement OneNote in my law practice and
this is the first serious drawback that I have encountered.
