inserting music in PP

Hello folks,

I am trying to insert (actually, embed it so I can send to someone else) music from a file (not iTunes or a CD) into a PP presentation. I have been able to insert (not embed) music, but it does not continue on through the presentation. It just plays while the first slide is there and that's all.

Can anyone help?
