I want to insert a NUL character into a file that will be saved as
type TXT. It has decimal value 0. When I try using the ALT +
numeric-keypad method, no character gets inserted. Is there a way in
Word to create a file with NUL characters?
I need the NUL character to control a COM port device to which the
contents of a TXT file will be sent .
If all else fails, I will have to dust off my QuickBasic manual.
