Inserting page numbers in an Excel workbook starting with a number other than 1

I need to insert page numbers in an Excel workbook starting with a
number other than 1. The Excel document that I will be printing will
be inserted into a Word Document for hard copy presentation. Word has
some flexibility with page numbering, Excel does not seem to have the
same flexibility.

The amount of active worksheets will vary in both quantity and labels.
It would be great if the first sheet was Page 25, the next sheet was
Page 26, etc. to the end of the workbook.

I am thinking that a macro could be written to accomplish the task, but
I am not sure the best route to take.

Thanks for any help that can be provided.

If you go to File>Page Setup, the first tab presented is the "Page"
tab. At the very bottom of this tab is a box titled: "First page
number:". Input the page # you want to start with here.

Then, insert a customer header or footer using the "#" icon to insert
the page # on each page.

Let me know if you have any trouble with this method.

Thanks!

When I change the first page number, each sheet has the same starting
page number.

Let me know if I misunderstood.

Thanks!
