When inserting page numers to a documemnt, they show in
gray on the monitor but do not print to document. Any
suggestions?

Hello Rich,

I have seen this happen if the page numbers were inserted in the Print
Preview mode. You might try to remove page numbers from the document while
in a standard view and then re-insert the page numbers, this time in
Header/Footer View - The page numbers
should all print fine.

I hope this helps

As Graham Mayor wrote in response to your duplicate post in another NG, the
numbers are gray because they're in the header/footer (text in headers and
footers is dimmed when you are working in the document body); they're most
likely not printing because they're in the printer's unprintable area. See
