inserting pages set on landscape into a doc set on portrait ?

my partner is trying to insert 6 pages of tables of a word doc which were
created with the page oriantaion set on landscape into another word doc which
is set with the page orianaion on portrait but when she paste s the said doc
it changes the oriantaion the portrait and messes up the tables she is
working with word 2007 on windows 7if any one could help it would be much
appreciated and give me some peace !!!!
