Sorry: I need a bit more detail about the document you are dragging into,
and the image you are dragging.
Little things make a big difference. Right-click the picture and Choose
Format>Picture. There are settings in there that will prevent the picture
appearing.
But what part of the document are you trying to put it into? There are
objects in a document into which you can't put pictures...

user. I've been trying to 'drag' images from my iPhoto gallery into an open
Word Document (Yes, I have Word for Mac). All that appears is a pale blue
shadow where the image should be. What am I doing wrong?
