Inserting Pictures in 2008

In Entourage 2004, I had no problem inserting a jpeg picture into the body
of an email. Also attached photos would show up at the end of messages in
Entourage 2004. In Entourage 2008, I can't get pictures to insert or show up
at the end of HTML messages. Am I missing something?

It's working for me. What size are the attachments. Photos larger than 400KB
will not attach.

The photo in question in 327KB. Did I also read correctly that photos larger
than 400K will not attach. Why is that? Is this a design "feature?"

Who knows. I just verified it for another user. If it's a folder you can
send larger sizes.

Send Feedback to Microsoft under any Office application's Help in the Menu
bar.

I've sent the feedback per your recommendation.

From what I read in the forum, it would appear Entourage 2008 (sync
services, attachment limitations) is a step backward from Entourage 2004.
I'm glad '08 is on my "experimental" computer.

I am a long-timer (24 year) user of the PC and a recent convert to the Mac. I have Entourage 2008 on my new MacBook Pro. I must be missing something when inserting a graphic into an email message because I am unable to format that jpeg or bmp after insertion. I cannot make the graphic larger or smaller or wrap text around it as I could when using Microsoft Outlook. There is no context menu that appears with a right mouse click on an inserted graphic.

Am I missing a setting somewhere?

No, that's just a limitation of Entourage. Don't expect it to do everything
that Outlook for Windows does; you're just setting yourself up for
disappointment. Outlook has many more features than Entourage.

If you see a feature (such as editing graphics in place) that you would like
to see added to Entourage, use the Send Feedback command on the Help menu to
let Microsoft know. That is one source they use for identifying new features
to add.
