inserting row

Hi Terry

There are numerous ways, programatically or otherwise.
- directly thru table view
- via a form
- via a query
- via code.

Can you be more specific as to what you want to do?

How do I insert a row in an Access table?

If you mean "how do I insert a row somewhere in the middle of a table"
- you can't. A Table HAS NO ORDER. It's an unordered "bucket" of data;
new records will go at the end, or wherever Access finds room for the
new record.

If you want to see the records in a particular order you must - no
option! - have a field or fields within the table which define the
sequence, and use a Query sorted by that field or fields.
