inserting rows affecting formulas on other wkshts

We are importing data into a worksheet from a .csv file. Data from this
worksheet is then being used in formulas with results on other worksheets
within the workbook. When data is imported again (updated) on the first
worksheet and new rows of data are included, the results of the formulas are
then messed up on the other worksheets because they are referencing the wrong
cells because new rows of data have been inserted. Any way to remedy this?

Hi,

You might show us some formulas and tell us what they look like before and
after your process and explain what you want them to look like.

One answer would be to use INDIRECT

If this helps, please click the Yes button.

why not extend ranges in yr formulae to the maximum?

like A1:A65536 in Excel 2003

A:A (or A1:A1048576) in Excel 2007
