Inserting screen print

I am having a problem with inserting a screen print from a software program
called 'Procomm Plus Telnet Faspac Lan'. My screen print button does not
work, and when I highlight the entire screen I get several options, one is
'Copy to Windows Clipboard'.

Once I have captured a screen print and try to insert it into the Powerpoint
presentation I have problems. It gets resized so it fits into the
presentation, but the right half of the screen print is 'squeezed' together.
I have made sure that the box that I am inserting it into is big enough. How
can I avoid that?

I have also tried to paste it into "Notepad" and here the screen print looks
perfect. Can I import this file into my presentation?
