Inserting slides

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.3 (Panther) I have changed the order of my presentation slightly, and I want to insert a new slide as the very first one. I've inserted several in the middle without any problem, but how I do insert one at the very beginning without deleting the ones I already have? I'm sure this is very simple, but I'm just a novice with this application, and can't figure out how to do it.

Hello Dr

Use View > Slide Sorter.

When you are in slide sorter view you can drag slides to change their
positions. You can also click to the left of any slide and choose Insert
Slide, or Insert > New Slide.

For more information see pages 510 and 511 of Office 2008 for Mac
All-in-One For Dummies.
