Inserting text from another file

If I want to insert *all* the text from another .doc file into a Word
2002/XP document, is there a better way than using Insert/File? Is
there a way, using fields, that is more compatible with earlier
versions of Word?

Hi, Joseph,

You can use an IncludeText field. But I wouldn't say it's any more or less
compatible with earlier versions.
