Insertion of Excel Spreadsheets

In an existing word document, I would like to control the insertion of a
number of spreadsheets. I have the following requirements:

- Need to see the cells of the spreadsheet, not the Excel icon
- Need to control the actual dimensions of the spreadsheet so it is
compatible with the existing text
-Need to allow to user to click on the spreadsheet and have it toggle
between full size and the size compatible with the text

To that end, I have done the following:
Insert, Object, Create from file... From this point, I see a full size
version of the file that obscures two pages of the word document. I see some
formatting options but they appear to be for images, not the viewing size of
the spreadsheet. Seeking guidance in acheiving the requirements stated
earlier.

I'm not sure this is possible (at least, not with built-in
capabilities). Your requirements #2 and 3 are sketchy at best (what is
the "full size" of a spreadheet?).

To that end, I have done the following:

You can of course scale (and skew!) the Excel object in Word, so that it
better matches your text boundaries etc. And then by double-clicking,
Excel will take over. That's probably the best you get.
