inserts

With my new version of Office XP Professional, every time
I try to insert a text box or Auto Shape in the Word
program, I immediately get a large "Create your drawing"
box. The insert can be formed inside that, but then I
have to figure out how to delete the larger box without
deleting the insert. After that I have move the insert to
the designated location. With my previous version of
Office the insert always went exactly where I wanted it
the first time. Is there some setting I can go to to
eliminate that first box that appears?

Hi Beverly,

MS Office XP integrated the former MS Draw Addin.
You can change the default behavior of the Drawing
Canvas in Tools=>Options=>General and still use
it when needed through Insert=>Picture=>New Drawing
