"inside" margin on the Margins tab is an outside margin actually

Dmitriy Kopnichev

Hello
The "inside" margin on the Margins tab in the Page setup window is an
outside margin actually. The "inside" margin appears after choosing "Mirror
margins" on the Margins tab in the Page setup window.
How to correct this bug?

The only case in which I have observed this is when "Book fold" is selected.
That is a bug in Word 2002 that I fervently hope was corrected in Word 2003.
The only workaround is just to swap the dimensions for Inside and Outside.

it's not a bug, it's a "feature" :)

Honest, your description is right, but the problem is not that Word
mixes the two margins up – PageLayout View is showing odd pages on the
left side and even pages on the right. Only if you switch to
PrintPriview, you get the pages to display as they are seen by a reader
in a book.

Since I don't use OE nor ICQ (anymore), I'll stick to the traditional
way of replying to a usenet posting.

Hello
Not when "Book fold" is selected in my case, but "Mirror margins".

Hello
A SMS to me from anywhere in the World does not cost anything when you send
from www.mts.ru/sms
PrintPriview and "Print Layout" View are showing odd pages on the left side
and even pages on the right. A reader sees a blank front page (not first
page) when the book is closed. The first page is inside the book on the
first sheet of paper.
