Install a scanner to a window-xp computer

I want to install a scanner software to a window-xp computer. But it fails. The scanner model is EPSON GT-7000 USB. I find that the scanner software version is 1999.

Can you advise me how to solve this problem ASAP?

Wouldn't this be more appropriate in the relevant Windows XP group? I can't
see what it can possibly have to do with Office...

Yeah, I have to install a new driver & then buy a new scanner software. That's it

Done. The technical staff of Epson advises me to buy a new scanner software as the existing one is the old version. Do U think that I can find & download (free) the required software from MSN
