install addin in all office applications

Hello.

I have a problem installing my addin in all office programs at the same
time. I want my button to display in word, outlook, ppt and xls…

The button is only visible in word.In outlook other functionality is working
(ex: catching the save-event) –but the button is not visible.In ppt and xls
there is no button and no functionality…

I'm happy for any contribution

How did you add the button? Some code might help.

If this is for 2003, then I am not an expert and I'll let someone else
help you troubleshoot commandbars. If this is for 2007, then I should
have no problem helping you.

Outlook version?

Where are you instantiating your buttons?

Inspector or Explorer buttons?

What language and platform are you using for development?

Target Outlook version or versions?

BTW, it's generally not considered a best practice to use a shared addin for
Outlook and other Office apps. Outlook doesn't play nicely with others. I do
shared addins for Word/Excel/PPT and separate addins for Outlook.
