Install Entourage 2008 over Office 2008 Student & Teacher

I am switching to hosted Exchange from IMAP. I already have Office 2008 Student and Teacher installed on my system. My email hosting company will provide me with a copy of Entourage 2008 standard so I can have Exchange functionality. Can I install the standard version of Entourage over the existing student and teacher one and still have access to the rest of the Office suite?

You can try these directions. Several users have been success while others
have not.

Thanks Diane. I give the instructions a try. I assume I can keep my current Microsoft User Data folder even though I am uninstalling and re-installing. Correct?

Yes, but as with any install, backup everything first. This shouldn't touch
your Microsoft User Data folder, but on rare occasions $#@! happens. Be
prepared.
