Install Error

My hard drive had to be replaced. When I tried to install
my MS Office 2000 on the new hard drive I got a message
that there was an error reading the cab file on the
installation cd. How do I get around this seemingly media
(the install cd) failure or how do I get the installation
cd replaced? Thank you

Is the replaced hard drive the only hard drive in the
machine? Did you check the jumper settings to ensure that
it is set to master. If the other hard drive is in the
machine and that is set to master then you have a
conflict.
Also when this new drive was installed was it formatted
for use?
