Install MS Office Enterprise 2007

I'm trying to install MSOE 2007 on a new Dell laptop using an external D-Bay
drive.
The drive is not reading the DVD. It does read other disks. Do I need to
establish Internet access first? Or is the DVD defective and if so, who do I
contact?
