When I want to install MS office XP Professionnal on
Windows 98. I received the message "To install office,
setup must update your system to the min required level of
functionnality including -Core system and data access
components. If I pressed the Help button I got this info
"Microsoft Office Setup: Install Windows and Office
Component Updates
There is a minimum level of system functionality that
Microsoft Office requires to run the typical features of
many applications. Setup has determined that newer
versions of some system components on your computer are
required to run Office. Some of the system components that
Office evaluates for a minimum level of sufficiency
include the following:
· Data Access (OLEDB and ODBC) components
· Internet Explorer
· Fonts
After any necessary system components are updated, you
will need to restart your computer. Office setup will
automatically resume."
Could you tell me what file I need to install and where to
find them?
Thanks for your help
