You don't install fonts in applications. Use the OS X Font Book program to
install the font to the appropriate Fonts folder. You'll find information in
both OS X Help as well as Help for the Font Book app. Alternatively you can
simply drag the font file to the proper Fonts folder, but depending on the
nature of the 'font' it's usually better to use Font Book.

I installed new fonts (Hebrew) using Font Book, and they validated OK. But they don't show up in Word. Do I need to do something in Word?

Also, when I open Font Book, I see two Hebrew fonts - Arial Hebrew and Corsiva Hebrew, but when I open Word, I don't see those fonts in font drop down list.

I use MS Word 2004 for Mac, version 11.5.6.

Hebrew is a Right-to-Left language. No version of Mac Office supports RTL so
the fonts for those languages aren't available in the Office apps.

Also, in the future please do not tack unrelated questions onto an existing
thread as a REPLY. Create a NEW MESSAGE & include all particulars about your
issue -- including complete version information. Thanks!
