Install Office 2000 on a Production Server

I have a W2K Advanced Server box running SQL Server and
IIS. The guys of the new aplication to be installed
there asked me to install Office on the server to use
some components. Personally y don´t like to install
office on production servers. Is there any recommedation
I can use to do not install Office?
