I am trying to install Office 2000 on a Windows 2000 Terminal Server. I
have used the Office Resource Kit and have created and run the setup using
the Transform file. I have tried running setup with the Transform file
switch "/qn+" and without. When I run it with the "/qn+" switch nothing
happens (which I believe is how it is supposed to work because of the
switch). When I run it without the "/qn+" switch, it gets me to the point
where I tell it to install then I get a fatal error "Office installation
ended prematurely". I did run the command "change user /install" prior to
performing the installation (I also tried the installation using "Add/Remove
Programs". I checked the MS support docs and they don't provide much detail
into getting past the "premature end" error should it occur.

I could see that the first time I ran the install, it did create the folder
"Office" in "C:\Program Files" but I think because I ran it with the "/qn+"
switch and couldn't see anything happening, I might have interrupted the
installation (I ran this on another Terminal Server machine and it performed
the installation in the background). Is there anyway to clear out a pending
Office install or some way to see why it won't let me redo the installation?

Thanks in advance for any help.
