install office 2000 SR-1 update

hi, hope you can help. managed to download update but wont install. cannot
find the cd-rom it requires to save it to. how am i able to install this and
any future updates?

In the future select "No" to the question asking you if you have your disc
accessible. If that does not work download the listed updates from
http://www.microsoft.com/office/orkarchive/2000ddl.htm. For now download
this update from
http://download.microsoft.com/download/office2000prem/adminup2/SR-1a/WIN98/EN-US/O2KSR1aDL.EXE.

Sorry but 'the cd-rom it requires to save it to' doesn't make sense to me.
But you will need the original installation CD. Perhaps that's what you're
trying to say. And yes, you will need the original installation CD.
