Install Office 2007 with Office XP already installed

I currently have Office XP installed and am considering installing Office
Professional 2007. I have some questions:
1. Do I need to uninstall Office XP first, or will the installation
over-write those files? (I don't want to use Office XP if Office Pro 2007 is
installed.)
2. Do I need to do anything to ensure that all my current Outlook mail
folders get transferred to the new version of Outlook?

The installation will offer to upgrade - which replaces the old.
A backup of data is allways wise
OL should be fine, if for any reason it isnt, the cure is generally simple
