Install Office X in laptop

Tom G

I have Office X running on my desktop G4, installed via update cd. I have purchased a new PowerBook and would like to put Office on that computer. Do I need to purchase another license for this? If not, how do I get installation code to put Office X on a new computer with no earlier version of Office X on it

Thanks in advance

Hi Tom,

Your current license allows you to run Office on a desktop and a laptop
machine (providing you don;t use it on both at the same time I believe).
You should be fine.

If not, how
do I get installation code to put Office X on a new computer with no
earlier version of Office X on it.Thanks in advance.Tom

Can't you install the old version of Office on it first ??

Instead of installing the old version, when the new installer asks for the
previous version, you can just put the previous version CD in the drive and
point it to there.
