install office XP with Win98SE

When I try to install Office XP with Windows 98SE, I get
4 errors and can't go any farther. The errors I get are,
can't find Extract.exe, MLANG.DAT, OSP.HLP, PSSIO.TXT, in
D:\FILES\OSP\FILES\SYSTEM\ and
D:\FILES\OSP\FILES\SYSTEM\HELP. (D: is my CD ROM.) I
click "Ignor" after each, it's the only way to get past
the error.
Why does Microsoft clame Office XP can be loaded on
Windows 98SE? Also, what can be done to get this loaded on
Windows 98SE?

Did you shut down all running programs except for Explorer and Systray?
C+A+D and close the running programs. Also, did you disable your
anti-virus?

99.9999999% of problems are user created and not Microsoft.
