Do you know how can I do to solve the following error message when I try to open word, excell, etc: "office. You need to install this programn to be executed..."
In spite of I install the office 2000 the problem was not solved. I install and uninstall the office 3 times, but the error message stays there all the times I try to open any office program

The problemn isn´t with the office cd.

I´m using windows me

I follow all the steps in the link that you referred, but there wasn´t any subkey that begins with the digits "904". Only a big sequence of numbers mixed with letters

I think about of remove completely the office following the link: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?kbid=219423 However I´m afraid of it is the solution

Below the message with all detais that is desplayed
"This application must be installed to run. Please run setup from the location where you originally installed the program".
I get this message when i start my computer and when i try to open any of the office programs

Please, help me
